The Skyward X 2 is a high-stack, plush cushioned trainer built for easy and uptempo long runs. It is a comfort-and-distance shoe rather than a speed-work tool.

True to size, though slightly short initially because the toebox is tapered and low, and some testers reported pressure over the big toe and the ball of the foot. The midfoot is normal width with a padded, non-sliding tongue, and the large padded heel counter is secure, though the laces may need real cinching to lock the heel. One lab review dissented and called it half a size small, so a try-on is sensible.
