The original, brought back

This is a faithful reissue of the 2017 Speedgoat 2, the shoe that made the Speedgoat name. It is being worn as much for its look as for the trail, and it is unchanged from the original rather than modernised.

Length is true to size and heel and midfoot lockdown are secure, but the toebox is narrow, and that is the model's best-known limitation. Runners with average-to-wide feet report toe pressure and often go a half size up, or lace so the midfoot tightens independently of the forefoot.
